Day 14: Sunday October 12th

Happy Thanksgiving!



We have a big family dinner tonight, let's see how well we can set ourselves for success.

I plan on being prepared so that I can enjoy my meal and feel satisfied. I tested this paleo gravy and I must say it is quite good. I made mine with ghee and organic broth and two onions. Google nomnom Paleo gravy if my link doesn't work. She also has a recipe for date sweetened cranberry sauce if you like.

I am also contributing an appetizer and side dish to our family gathering and I am bringing bacon wrapped scallops and I am roasting a whole bunch of squash. I have a couple delicata, a kabocha squash and a butternut squash.

Because dinner without dessert just might be too hard, I am baking these squares. I will sweeten with date paste and add chopped nuts instead of chocolate chips.

  2. so i slept in today, had a coffee, 3 scrambled eggs & a booster juice (banana, kale, apple, pineapple) for brunch
    dinners gonna be roast turkey, veggies and mashed potatoes

  3. Slept in until 7:30! Doesn't seem late, but it felt glorious since I've been getting up at 6 daily.

    Breaky:
    Made a frittata with onions, kale and bacon. Served it with a side of butternut squash and 2 bulletproof coffee. Treat today.😊

    I ate a date before my run.

    Lunch:
    Big Greek style salad (minus the feta 😞) with last nights leftover meat and veggies. A few grapes and a spoonful of coconut butter.A cup of green tea.

    Prepping for dinner. I plan on eating a lot. Lol

    Turkey, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes. Bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. I am making the pumpkin bars I mentioned above. And will probably sample anything that fits in the Whole30 parameter at our family gathering.

  4. slept in til 9 :) Then went and got the little man so was nice for a change.

    I had for breakfast :

    Deer ground yes deer ground
    3 eggs
    Avacado
    Coffee x2
    lots and lots of water today...can't seem to get enough

    Big dinner tonight with turkey and all the goodies minus stuffing as we can't have it but all the rest.

    1. Me too! Apparently you can overeat even with Whole30 food. It really wasn't hard not cheating tonight. We had so many options and I am beyond stuffed! See you at the gym @9 Ty!
