Breakfast: Couple blueberry patties, sautéed kale and bulletproof coffee and a banana,
Lunch: Scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted yams, sautéed kale and tomatoes. More coffee.
Snacked on an RX bar.
Dinner: Went to the Keg. Kept it good, although I had fries which I know were cooked in bad oil. Bacon wrapped scallops for starters. Steak, steamed beans and fries. And a glass of water...even though I really wanted wine. Lol
Meal 1: 2 sausages, banana, almond butter Meal 2: Bacon, pepper, eggs, yam omlette Meal 3: Soup and chicken salad. Meal 4: Salmon, rice, vegetables. (big test of will as was a big chinese dinner at mom and dads. had to bring my own fish)
re-introducing my supplements (creatine) and protein powder as feeling performance dropping along with no longer maintaining starting weight.
I also went and bought some Biltong to help with the "easy" snacks. Biltong is basically South African beef jerky. But there should be none of the sugar and preservatives that you get in the usual store bought version.
We've bought it before and it's good, but it's can sometimes be very fatty. Batch I just bought looks ok. Place to get it is called AFRICAN BREEZE and it's located off Marine Drive in the shopping center across from the Chapters. Near the Wine store and Marks Work Warehouse.
Post workout: recovery drink and protein shake L: 4 eggs, yam, avocado, fried spinach and kale D: deep fried brussel sprouts, steak tartare, crab/shrimp/cod fritters
sorry I have been MIA as the firehall has no access to this site for some reason.... I have been eating well lol...
