ReplyDeleteS: banana and an apple
Dinner I will have chicken and veggies and a yam with almond butter for dessert...
So.....I cheated on Saturday night. I had yam fries and a couple lime margaritas...now as much as this sucks for me it was planned. It was Risto's birthday. This was the main reason I started this a week early. Anyhow thought I would share my shame with you all.
ReplyDeleteSunday:
yam, egg, chicken, pulled pork hash...
Pre workout 1 cup yam and pulled pork
Post workout 1 cup yam and 2 sausages
Dinner will be a coconut curry that I will post the recipe for shortly. Its super yummy.
I have without a doubt more energy eating like this. Body is starting to get used to not needing as many calories so I'm getting less hungry which is good. Also feeling my conditioning workouts are improving. I did Fridays invictus comp wod which consisted of on the min 30 double unders, 10 pullups next minute was 10 burpee box jumps (this was horrible each round) and then I did the next minute as 10 rep 135 bench press. The workout was tough but made it through.
Love the honesty coach, way to keep your cheat under control too and I agree I am also starting to feel better and definitively way less hungry. This shit is working!
DeleteLol! I wouldn't have mentioned running into you at browns. And annie approved to vodka sodas, so i feel no shame for my two drinks yesterday
Deletebreakfast
ReplyDelete4 eggs scrambled
banana w/ Tbs of almond butter
lunch was sushi. its a bit of a cheat but i managed to hold off from drinking while watching football with 5 of my good friends.
snatch was an Rx bar
dinner was cod with canned tomatoes, sauteed onions and black olives
Thanks for being honest and resisting the drinks! Scott watched football alone in the basement all day. Lol
DeleteDinner was sooo good I need to share the recipe. I couldn't find zucchinis today to make zoodles. But it was just as tasty on top of spaghetti squash. I just wish I wasn't in such a hurry to eat and took a picture.
ReplyDeleteHere's the link:

Dinner:
Spaghetti squash with shrimp scampi. Later I plan on having an apple and almond butter with a cup of tea.
I also prepped some egg muffins for breakfast this week.
DeleteI lined muffin tins with one slice of prosciutto and beat one egg in each cup with seasoning and a couple chopped up cherry tomatoes. Baked in oven at 350 for about 25 minutes. Make sure to use non-stick muffin tins and spray them first.

Lunch: prime rib ground burgers with fresh guacamole and fresh salsa in a lettuce wrap
lara bar/carrots
Dinner: Roasted Veggies (turnips Squash sweet potato mushrooms carrots peppers onions mmm) with a Steak

There is yam noodles at the market next to larry's on lonsdale... If I remember I will bring a couple bags in for people to try out.
