Day 5: Friday October 3rd

  4. Okay, we survived our first family dinner, Scott was grumpy about not having rice. My sisters pumpkin cake smelled delicious and I really wanted a glass of wine. But it's only day 5 and I've got my eyes on my goals.

    Breakfast:
    A couple hard boiled eggs, a coupe breakfast sausage that I made with left over roast veggies. And some fresh berries in coconut milk and my bulletproof coffee.

    Big breakfast. Ready to roll for the day!

    Lunch:
    A cup of bone broth. Left over pulled pork, spinach and tomatoe salad. A few grapes.

    Snack:
    Banana, almond butter, flax seed and unsweetened almond milk smoothie.

    Dinner:
    Grilled chicken and veggies, salad amd fruits at our family dinner. A big spoon of coconut/cashew butter at home to curb the dessert craving.

    L: Carrot ginger soup & salad (was all i was able to find downtown)
    S: banana, roasted almonds
    D: grilled chicken with salad

  7. Sorry for not posting on Thursday. My meals were pretty boring as I ran out of variety at home.

    I had small portion of yam and chicken for 3 meals and then chicken and veggie for another. two handful of nuts through the day, an apple and a banana.

    For Friday:

    B: 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon
    L: 4 slow cooked chicken drum sticks w/t half a yam
    Post workout: salmon, carrots and pineapple. My mother kindly brought that to work for me because she loves me.
    D: slow cooked yams in the chicken stock and salsa verde from the slow cooked chicken earlier in the day with guess what....chicken.
    S: banana w/t almond butter
    S: 2 eggs, 1 mandarin orange.

    Ground Beer with mushrooms and garlic and ginger with avocado topped with three eggs

  9. lunch was a berry smoothie from budhafull with spinach, chickpea pekoras

    dinner was salmon with baked potato and asparagus

    L- yams, beats, green beans and tuna
    S- Grapefruit, apple, carrot and celery sticks
    D- 7oz steak, prawns, asparagus, mushrooms and grilled red peppers
